Until the end of 2026 I will run these workshops in Weston with my friend Sarah Quick as part of the local group “The Contemporary Craft Collective”. Sarah is then retiring and leaving the area so I will continue my workshops in a new venue (details to follow).

Very sadly for all concerned, in May 2025 I ran my final workshop in Congars Cafe as the owners had made the very difficult decision to close the cafe.
I will look for new, local premises to continue workshops in 2027.
Fused Glass Workshop
PRE-CHRISTMAS WORKSHOPS (Sept – Nov 26) – In the run up to Christmas it’s up to you whether you create a Christmas design or not, however the selection of flat “base” glass is different. Please read the info if booking a workshop in the autumn.
Generally speaking, when not in the autumn, workshops allow you to create your own unique and beautiful fused glass curve, picture, hanging panel or coasters for yourself or as a gift. You will create your own unique design on a pre-cut flat piece of glass of 23×7 cm, 15x15cm or 10x10cm (you can make 2 of the smallest size).
All workshops are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have caught the fused glass bug! We’ll have some ideas, photos and examples to inspire you. We’ll show you some basic glass cutting techniques to create your own shapes and give you tips on how best to get the finished look. Uncomplicated designs tend to work best. We’ll take your finished piece away to be fused in our kilns then it will be available for collection 2-3 weeks after the workshop. £36 (plus booking fee) includes all glass, tuition etc. Wooden stands available to buy at the workshop (£3-£5).
Fused Glass Jewellery with the stunning colours of dichroic glass

My workshops offer flexibility in cost and timescale to make unique pendants and/or brooches. I provide pre-cut shapes of glass and you have a fun and relaxing time picking through the trays of coloured glass pieces to choose your unique combination of colour and design. The dichroic glass used has metal layers on the surface that provide beautiful colours, often displaying more than one colour in a single piece.
The basic workshop cost is around £23 (depending on venue) which includes the making of one pendant or brooch. Additional items cost £9 each which is payable on the day. You can make as many items as you wish within the workshop duration. At the end I will take your items to fuse the glass in my kiln. Your items will be ready within two weeks for you to collect (or can be posted).
I really enjoyed the workshop. Good, clear instructions were given at the beginning and lots of help and input during. I loved working with the pieces!
